The School of Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences provides students with a solid scientific background to keep them competitive and to prepare them for the constantly evolving methods and technology in their field.
Students attend teaching- and research-oriented laboratories and learn from professors, researchers and technicians.
The courses of study offered within the School include corporate internships organized by the School itself. Bachelor’s and Master’s theses can be carried out at corporate, national or international laboratories, or of course within the School, always with the support and guidance of a professor.
Study abroad periods are supported by the School and opportunities exist for students who wish to take courses or to conduct thesis experiments abroad.
The School is organized in different Departments:
The Department of Biotechnology and Biosciences
The Department of Computer Sciences, Systems and Communications
The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences
The Department of Materials Science
The Department of Mathematics and Its Applications
