Sociology

Sociology logo

The Faculty of Sociology combines research and study, offering different fields of specialization: undergraduate degree course, specialization, post-graduate, and doctorate.

All the degree courses provide students with a solid background in the field and the tools to be competitive in the job market.  The educational experience within the Faculty enables students to “read” different social contexts and to critically interpret them.

Through an interdisciplinary approach Sociology students are exposed to other academic fields such as law, philosophy, math, archeology, psychology, history, data analysis techniques, economics and social services that strengthen the handling of their own subject.

In-class lectures are enriched by seminars and lab work, which allow students to put their lessons into practice.
