On arrival in Milan
1. Accommodation

The address of the hall of residence for accommodation will be provided only on arrival in Milan. On the day of arrival students must present themselves at the CIDiS Office, building U12, Bicocca Campus, 2nd floor, Via Vizzola 5, Milano - tel. 0039 02 64487059, fax 0039 02 64487060, e mail erasmus.bicocca@consorziocidis.it.

Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 9 am - 12.30 pm and 1.45 pm - 4 pm

Friday: 9 am - 12.30 pm

Offices are closed on Saturday and Sunday

Admissions will only take place during the above mentioned hours.

2. Tax code

Get your Italian tax code.

Codice fiscale or tax code is a social security number needed to open a bank account, to get a telephone contract, to sign accomodation contracts, to pay the compulsory campus insurance and so on.

How to apply: go to the Tax Office with your valid passport/identity card, entry visa in case of non-EU nationals:

Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.00 to 13.00

3. Campus Insurance

Once you get your tax code, you have to pay the compulsory campus insurance of € 6.96. This insurance covers accidents, injures caused by others to you and injures that you may cause to other people or to things in the campus.

How to pay: go to the Campus bank:

from Mondays to Fridays from 8.30 to 13.30 and from 14.45 to 15.45

 

You can't pay your insurance by credit card

4. Enrollment

On arrival in Milan

 
Before your arrival you will receive an email with the necessary instructions. Attached to the email are indications regarding the first steps you will have to take on your arrival in Milan “Your arrival step by step” please read it carefully!

The arrival registration procedure and orientation meetings will be held on February 8th, 15th and 22nd. We will publish the information concerning time and location.

 During the meeting you have to give us:

• Your tax code (and a copy of the same)
• Receipt of the 6,96€ payment (and a copy of the same)
• Photocopy of your European Health Insurance (if you haven’t sent it yet)

On the same occasion you will receive your certificate of arrival and we will provide you with useful information about your stay at the University of Milano-Bicocca as well as a welcome kit, a personal exam booklet and student card.

Students arriving at any other time will not be accepted.

 

5. Your Erasmus Coordinator

Within one week from your arrival, you are required to fill in a "Personal Data form" provided by the International Office and return it to your Erasmus Coordinator or your Mobility Assistant.
