"Free mover" Visiting Students
Students wishing to study at the University of Milano-Bicocca for a period, but without taking part in any exchange programme, may apply as free-mover visiting students. Their acceptance has to be decided by the receiving Department or School. Applicants can contact a University's Department or School to ask for their acceptance.
Free-mover visiting students generally don't attend classes and sit exams, but carry on research activities, thesis works or make internship in the Department laboratories and facilities. Students interested in attending single classes in University and taking the reletad exams can apply for the enrollment to single courses.
The Department or School, that has accepted a free-mover visiting student, send the written statement to the Foreign Office, that issues the invitation letter, if required to apply for the italian entry visa.
No scholarships are provided.
A special fee is generally applied:
- €300.00 for periods up to 6 months;
- €500.00 for periods over 6 months.
The fee includes the cost of the campus insurance, which covers accidents, injuries caused by others to you and injuries that you may cause to other people or things in the campus
Once you have been accepted, please send the foreign office the following documents:
- The Application Form.
- a photo, passport size, in electronic format
- a copy of the passport
The documents can be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. At your arrival, the foreign office issues the payment form, called MAV, for the tuition fees, which can be paid at the bank in the campus:
