Niccolò Gordini is Research Fellow in Management at the University of Milan-Bicocca, which has been ranked 21 in the 2013/14 QS World University Ranking “Top 50 Under 50”. He held a PhD. in Management at University of Florence and then he served the University of Milan-Bicocca as Assistant Professor. He is qualified as Associate Professor in Management (NSQ, 2013)
Dr. Gordini’s research interests mainly lie in the following fields: SME default prediction modeling; corporate governance; entrepreneurship.
Among the various outlets (2 books, 15 papers, 9 book chapters, 16 referred conference proceedings), he has published in the following “A” and “B” ranked journals (ANVUR , 2012): Expert Systems with Applications (A, single authored); Corporate Governance (B, co-authored), Journal of Small Business Management (B, co-authored). Also, he is currently co-guest editor of the special issues on Corporate Governance for the Management Research Review, sponsoreed by Academy of Management and Società Italiana Management, and he has won an award for his research efforts.
He is an active reviewer for a number of management journals (among others 4 ranked journals such as Expert Systems with Application and European Journal of Operational Research and 3 ranked journals such as Journal of Small Business Management) and conferences (among others Academy of Management Conference, Strategic Management Society Conference, EURAM Conference).
He currently serves the Editorial Board of several international journals (such as World Journal of Management, Cambridge Business & Economics Journal, International Journal of Business & Economics, Oxford Journal, International Journal of Business and Management, International Business Research, Journal of Management and Sustainability, Journal of Management Research, Business and Management Horizons, Journal of Business Excellence) and he is an active member, among others, of the Academy of Management Society, of the Strategic Management Society, of the European Academy of Management, of the Società Italiana Marketing, and of the Società Italiana Management.
He has also served as member of the "2012 Italian Journal Rating AIDEA" board and as co-organizer of the 2008 Global conference on business and economics.
Finally, Dr. Gordini currently teaches: 1) Corporate Global Communication (graduate level) and Marketing Metrics (graduate level).
