University and Business

The University of Milano - Bicocca is a gateway to professionalism and educates scientists and technicians for Italy's industries.

Milan is historically open to competition, innovation, and internationalism. In 2006, 13% of all Italian exports came from Milan; 45% of exports from the Lombardy region, 67% of all imports to Lombardy and 24% of all national imports came to Milan.

The Province of Milan receives the highest amount of foreign investment in Italy and 41.7% of all companies here have an international partner.

The city is also the headquarters of many Italian and multinational corporations.

Thanks to collaboration between the University and the business community, foreign students who decide to stay and work here are made to feel at home.

Those who decide to return home will have all the skills necessary to open new ground and extend the network of the University's Industrial Liaison Office.
