Symphonya. Emerging Issues in Management is a monographic review that takes an in-depth look at specific emerging scientific and managerial issues. Topics are discussed in specialized workshops, with several leading experts (academics and managers) selected to write on each emerging issue.
Beginning with issue 1, 2008, the article review process is organized as follows:
- "Invited articles": articles written by leading experts, who are invited to submit a paper by the Editor-in-Chief, Advisory Board and Scientific Committee. These articles are not subject to the refereeing process and are shown as being "invited articles" by a special footnote.
- Reviewed articles: all other articles, which are submitted to the review process. Two blind referees are selected by the Editor-in-Chief from the Refereeing Committee according to their field of specialization. They review each article and refer back to the Editor-in-Chief. When the referees express different opinions about an article, the final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief, as the person responsible for all articles published in the review.
