2nd SYSBIO.IT School on Computational Systems Biology and Bioinformatics

Mathematical modeling and computational methods are becoming indispensable complementary tools to experimental laboratory methods. Thanks to this synergy, researchers can nowadays achieve a faster understanding of biological systems. The aim of the 2nd SYSBIO.IT School on Computational Systems Biology and Bioinformatics is to introduce the modeling formalisms and the computational tools for the investigation of gene regulation, signaling and metabolic networks, as well as to present bioinformatics methods for the analysis of genome architecture.

Target audience:
The school will be open up to 30 motivated and selected participants. Undergraduate students, PhD students, post-docs and young researchers with different educational backgrounds (Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.) interested in Computational Systems Biology and Bioinformatics are encouraged to apply.

Registration Fee: free - A contribution will be requested for social events
