The European Commission awarded the Erasmus Extended University Charter (EUC) to the University of Milano-Bicocca.
This Charter - which entitles our university to apply for grant support for Erasmus activities - is now including Erasmus placements.
Student mobility for placements enables students at higher education institutions to spend a placement (traineeship/internship) period between 3 months and 12 months in an enterprise or organisation in another participating country.
The home higher education institution will give the students full recognition for the period spent abroad, as agreed in the Training Agreement.
Student placements help students to develop specific competences including language skills, to improve understanding of the economic and social culture of the host country, to adapt to the requirements of the EU-wide labour market.
