Every year, the University of Milano-Bicocca welcomes around 2,200 international students from all over the world.

Of these, around 400 come to Milan on:

The majority of the international students are Prospective Students, or students who study for an entire degree course at our university.

Of these, around 200 also study at our Summer and Winter School programmes around the world, with destinations including Italy, various European countries and even Kazakhstan, India and China.
Every year, the university also welcomes a group of Chinese students as part of the Marco Polo programme.

The university’s educational offering for international students is split into Bachelor and Master MSc Degrees. Nine of these courses are delivered entirely in English:

  • Artificial Intelligence,
  • Artificial Intelligence for Science and Technology
  • Astrophysics and Space Physics,
  • Marketing and Global Markets-Global Management,
  • Materials Science,
  • Marine Sciences,
  • International Economics, 
  • Medicine and Surgery.

The university’s Doctoral Research School also offers lectures in English across its 21 active channels.
