The master's degree course, according to the provisions of Law 163/2021, qualifies to practice the profession of psychologist.
Therefore the the regulation of the course has been changed.
In order to participate in the selection procedure for admission to the Master’s degree in Applied Experimental Psychological Sciences it is necessary to be in possession of the following academic qualifications and to meet the following requirements:
1) Bachelor's Degree, Specialist Degree/Master's Degree or Degree awarded according to the system prior to Ministerial Decree 509/99, or a three-year university diploma or an academic qualification obtained abroad acknowledged as suitable. Conditional admission is permitted for those who plan to complete the programme no later than 31 October 2024
2) 88 university study credits (ECTS) taken by 6th May 2024 and properly distributed among the Scientific Disciplinary Sectors of Psychology: M-PSI/01, M-PSI/02, M-PSI/03, M-PSI/04, M-PSI/05, M-PSI/06, M-PSI/07, M-PSI/08
3) Knowledge of the English language at a level of at least B2
For candidates with foreign qualifications the Committee ascertains that the 88 ECTS have been achieved and that the curricular requirements have been met basing on the documents submitted by each candidate, also considering the detailed programmes of the examinations.
For 2025-26 intake, candidates with international qualifications will benefit from a new application platform, starting on January 31, 2025.
Additionally, VISA- SEEKER candidates will have the advantage of an earlier evaluation, granting them extra time to complete the necessary procedures related to the issuance of the study visa.
