Sviluppo nella metodologia biostatistica con particolare interesse ai metodi statistici per lo sviluppo di nuovi biomarcatori. Dal 2015 investigatore principale nel progetto di ricerca “IDEA: Innovative DEsigns and statistical Approaches for biomarker development” (RBSI14LOVD, programma SIR-Scientific Independence Research- del Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca).
