SPETTROMETRO DI MASSA RAPIFLEX MALDI-TOF/TOF MS MALDI-TOF/TOF con una risoluzione di oltre 40.000 RP e una precisione di massa migliore di 2-5ppm. La sensibilità è nell'ordine di poche centinaia di fentomoli con una risoluzione spaziale fino a 10 μm (per l'imaging di una singola cellula). S pettrometro di massa per lo studio del proteoma, del metaboloma, di farmaci e piccole molecole. In particolare, può identificare i profili proteici/peptidomici, le sue alterazioni qualitative (modificazioni post-traduzionale quali ad esempio la fosforilazioni, N-glicosilazione etc.), quantitative e validarne i risultati. Dispone della tecnica di “Imaging” in spettrometria di massa per l’ottenimento della immagine “single-cell” presenti in tessuti con la distribuzione spaziale delle molecole di interesse direttamente sui tessuti, organi e cellule. Le analisi quali-quantitative di proteine, peptidi, n-glicani, lipidi possono essere eseguite su campioni liquidi (es. fluidi biologici, terrene di coltura, etc) o campioni solidi (tessuti, cellule, ecc).
